Hail to the (very quiet) Archery group,

Just wanted to drop a line and recommend the new Hood Series of books by Stephen Lawhead, This new re-telling of the origin of Robin Hood and his not so merry men is great stuff taking a very dark approach to the fluffly legend of Robin, who was in fact a murdering brigand. The first two books are out, Hood and Scarlett with Tuck being released this month I believe. I highly recommend you check them out!

I have also heard rumblings of Ridley Scott (My favorite Director,Kingdom of heaven) doing a new robin hood film which is also taking a darker slant on the legend with Russell (Gladiator) Crowe not only playing Robin Hood but the Sheriff as well.
